Beginning My Blog

It has been more than three years now since I moved back home from Chicago in order to pursue what God had put on my heart. I wanted to study different words and their themes in the Bible and turn them into narratives.

At first I thought I would make them into little videos, especially since I had just finished going to college for filmmaking. But I soon realized this was not the best medium for what I was trying to do.

Becuase of that, I let myself get discouraged and distracted. Very distracted…by a certain man who is now my husband ^_^  A year later I married the love of my life Justin, and a year after that we decided we would start trying to have a kid. Since it could take years to actually get one we figured, why not? Needless to say, I conceived on the very first try and a little over nine moths later, Enderson was born to us. That perfect blessing is now in his terrible twos and it is a blast watching him learn and grow and seeing who he is becoming.

…Ok, back to what my post is about… 😉

Rrecently Justin and I talked about how to bless others with the gifts God has given us and I was brought back to my original inspiration. As you can see, I am going to be blogging instead of making videos. 🙂

This is a blog that will focus on the beauty and ugliness, the raw life, that is depicted in the Bible and in the everyday, and I will always bring it back to knowing and resting in the heart of God for each subject and theme. I want to study who God is through these words and to immerce myself in Him and His Truth. I hope you will come along with me on this search for the heart of our Maker, the Lover of our souls, and the One from which eternity springs and where it rests.

Grace and peace to you in our Savior, Jesus Christ

Our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
